The Village of Schiller Park is accepting applications for the purpose of establishing an eligibility list for the position of FIREFIGHTER/PARAMEDIC.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, (or 20 years old with two years of eligible fire science studies), but less than 35 years of age on January 20, 2012

• U.S. Citizen

• All applicants must be licensed as a Paramedic or Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois at time of application

Appointment to the eligibility list will be based on a written, physical agility, and oral exam.  Final determination will be made upon completion of a psychological, polygraph, and medical examination.  Cooperation with a background check is also required.
