The Village of Schaumburg Police Department is seeking a Training Coordinator to budget and schedule training and schooling pertinent to each employees’ position; assist in implementing career development programs including evaluating and coordinating in-service training; record and maintain employee’s training record; chair the Police department’s training committee and evaluate field training and assist with police recruit examinations and enroll police recruits at state certified training academies. 
 
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five (5) years experience as a police officer or comparable law enforcement background, preferably with a training practitioner background.  Individual must have excellent oral and written communications skills, the ability to compile accurate technical reports, working knowledge of computers, and knowledge of training manuals, state and federal laws, CALEA, and other related materials relevant to the training function.

Excellent benefits with a starting salary in the upper $40’s to low $50’s DOQ.
