POLICE OFFICER EXAM

CITY OF PROSPECT HEIGHTS

The City of Prospect Heights is accepting applications for persons interested in testing for the position of Police Officer.

Qualifications include

(except as otherwise provided by state statute):

• 60 semester credit hours from an accredited college or university,

• Eyesight corrected to 20/20, applicants may not be afflicted with color blindness or any other eye abnormalities.

• Must be 21 years of age and under the age of 36 at the time of the last date for filing (August 12, 2010)

• Must have valid Illinois Driver’s License

Salary Range as of May 1, 2010:

$51,196 - $74,744, plus other excellent benefits

Applicant packets available Monday through Thursday beginning July 19, 2010 (8:30 AM-4:00 PM) and must be returned no later than Thursday, August 12, 2010 at 4 PM with a $25 non-refundable processing fee.

Mandatory Orientation Meeting:

Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at 7 PM
