The City of Oakbrook Terrace Board of Police Commissioners is seeking applicants to establish an eligibility list for full-time Police Officers.

Minimum Requirements:

$25.00 non-refundable application fee. Fee can be waived for candidates experiencing financial hardship.
U.S. Citizenship
No Felony Convictions
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Valid Driver’s License
21 to under 35 years of age at time of application deadline and at such time as the final eligibility list is posted unless otherwise exempt by Statute.
Submission of an Online Application and all Requested Documentation (see CHECKLIST) by noon on February 26, 2010. Release Forms include Physical Fitness Certificate requiring signature from a Medical Doctor to allow your participation in Physical Abilities Test.
Must attend Orientation. Must participate in the Physical Abilities Test. Must participate in and satisfactorily pass a Written Test, an Oral Interview, Background Investigation, a Polygraph Test, and Medical Examinations which include but are not limited to a Psychological Evaluation and Drug and Alcohol Testing.
