BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Up to 35 years of age

• A citizen of the United States

• Possess a High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Possess a Valid Driver's License

• Physically able to perform duties, Pass Basic Agility Screening

• No felony convictions or convictions for certain misdemeanor violations

• Full service Municipal Policing

• Enforcement of State and Local Laws

• Prepare written reports on assigned tasks and attend court and testify when necessary

• Community policing, assist and render aid to citizens, conduct building checks and investigate suspicious persons, vehicles, noise, etc.

• Uniform Patrol, traffic control, motor vehicle assists and traffic crash investigations

• Volunteer to participate in Village Community Functions

• STARTING SALARY $54,021; Top pay after 5 years of $74,203. (Not including holidays or longevity)

• Candidates will then proceed with a Background Investigation, Polygraph Examination and Assessment Review Panel

• Candidates that qualify will then be given an Oral Interview, Psychological Examination and Medical Examination/Physical Agility
