NOTICE OF EXAMINATION FOR POLICE PATROL OFFICER FOR THE VILLAGE OF NEW LENOX POLICE DEPARTMENT

The examination is open to any applicant who meets the requirements of the New Lenox Board of Fire and Police Commissioners, including:

• U.S. Citizen

• Speak fluent English

• Must be between 20 and 35 years of age (must be 21 years of age at the time of appointment)

• Possess a valid driver’s license

• 30 college credit hours required (certified transcripts must be submitted prior to Written Examination)

Applicants must be able to pass written, oral, background, medical, vision, polygraph, and psychological examinations.

The entry examination will be conducted in three sessions:

Session I

Orientation

Session II

Physical Agility

Saturday, October 30, 2010

8:30 A.M.

Session III

Written Exam

Saturday, October 30, 2010

1:00 P.M.

Session I, Session II, and Session III will be held at:

Lincoln-Way Community High School

Central Campus

Route 30 and Schoolhouse Road

New Lenox, IL

Applicants must attend Session I (Orientation) to be eligible to attend Session II (Physical Agility) and Session III (Written Exam).

Applications will be only available immediately following Orientation at Lincoln-Way High School.
