The Naperville Board of Fire and Police Commissioners are creating an eligibility list for entry level Firefighter/Paramedics.

To be considered for employment, candidates must

meet the following requirements:

Starting in 2010, all applicants must submit proof of having successfully completed the “Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT)" within a one year period prior to the date of the written test.

• Be a high school graduate or equivalent (GED) at time of application

• Possess a valid driver’s license, which will be used for identification at all phases of testing

• Be 21 years of age, but not older than 34 years of age by the date of orientation except as otherwise provided by state statute

• Attend orientation and all phases of testing

• Possess good moral character

• Must be licensed as a paramedic in any state at the time of application, and must be licensed in IL at time of job offer
