911 DISPATCHER – FULL TIME

The Village of Montgomery is accepting applications for a 911 Dispatcher in the Police Department.

Qualifications:

• The successful applicant will have the ability to multi-task and prioritize under stressful work conditions

• Typing/keyboarding 45 w.p.m. or greater and computer skills

• Must be able to work rotating shifts, weekends and holidays, mandatory overtime may be necessary

• Possess skills to work efficiently as a team

• Bilingual skills desired

• Knowledge of New World Systems, LEADS Certification and CAD experience a plus

Duties include:

• Answering 911 and administrative calls

• Dispatching police and fire calls

• Computer entry

• Working with the public

Starting Pay:

$17.66 per hour
