• Be at least 21 years of age

• Be a U.S. citizen

• Possess a high school diploma or GED

• Have a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record

• Have no felony convictions or misdemeanor convictions involving perjury, false statement, moral turpitude or domestic violence

• Current certification as a Part-Time Police Officer in the State of Illinois

• Be available for special events (Festivals, Parades, Etc)

• Good report writing skills

• Ability to pass a physical and psychological examination.
