Part-Time Records Clerks

(not to exceed 1,000 hours annually)

The Village of Matteson is seeking to hire Part-Time Records Clerks for the Police Department.  This position is responsible for record maintenance, customer service, clerical and cashiering duties as well as other duties detailed in the job description.

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma and two years of related experience in police records or law enforcement are required.

• LEADS experience is preferred.

• Qualified applicants must be self-starters, possess excellent organizational skills, capable of working with limited supervision and comfortable interacting with the public.

The Records Division is open 24 hours a day/7 days per week.  This is a part-time position that floats and provides fill-in for various shifts during the week, but will not exceed 1,000 hours annually.

The rate of pay is $13.50 per hour.

Successful applicants will be required to undergo a background check, drug screen and physical at the Village’s expense.
