The Marengo Police Department is accepting applications for Full Time Radio Dispatcher.

Job function of this position is dispatching Police, Fire and EMS calls.

Candidates must:

• Have accurate typing skills and a clear speaking voice

• Have the ability to multi-task and react quickly and calmly in a high stress environment

• Pass a vision (color acuity) and hearing test and background investigation

• Be willing to work rotating shifts and days off

Previous public safety dispatching experience and bilingual skills a plus.
