CHIEF OF POLICE

Lewis University, located 25 miles SW of Chicago, is seeking a Chief of Police to implement the newly approved university police department.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree is required, master’s preferred

• Administrative and command law enforcement experience also required

• Previous Illinois Police Certification, plus a minimum of 5 years successful administrative experience in law enforcement or campus setting supervising full time staff necessary

• Prior law enforcement experience at an institution of higher education highly preferred
