PART-TIME INVESTIGATIONS AIDE

The Lake Zurich Police Department is a nationally accredited law enforcement agency (CALEA) located in Lake County, Illinois. At this time we are taking applications for the position of Investigative Aide. This is a Part-Time position with flexible hours (approx. 20 hours a week, not to exceed a 1,000 hours a year).  This position will mainly have as its duties, the responsibilities of Evidence Custodian, CALEA Accreditation Manager Aide and Criminal Investigations Division Aide. This is a civilian, non-sworn, unarmed position.

• Applicants must be able to pass an in-depth  background investigation and drug screening.

• Preference will be given to candidates with prior law enforcement experience.

• Lake Zurich Police Department employees are not permitted to use tobacco products while on duty.
