THE LAKE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE MERIT COMMISSION will be accepting applications to form a certified eligibility list from which future vacancies in the Sheriff's Office will be filled.  This list will be valid for two (2) years.

CERTIFIED DEPUTY SHERIFF

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Citizen of the United States

• Age: 21 at Time of First Test

• High School Graduate (or G.E.D.)

• Valid Driver's License

Must successfully complete:

• P.O.W.E.R. Test

• Written entrance examination

• Oral interview

• Background investigation

• Polygraph & psychological exam
