POLICE DISPATCHER LAKE BLUFF POLICE DEPARTMENT
The Village of Lake Bluff, incorporated in 1895, is a north shore suburb 35 miles north of Chicago. Bordered by the City of Lake Forest to the south, the Village of Green Oaks to the west, Great Lakes Naval Training Center to the north, and Lake Michigan to the east, the Village of Lake Bluff is home to over 6,000 residents and is approximately 4 square miles. The Village is primarily comprised of single-family residential neighborhoods, small retail shops, and small industrial parks.
Lake Bluff is a full service municipality with a progressive Police Department staffed with fifteen (15) sworn police officers and six (6) civilian dispatchers. The Department is internationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA). The Lake Bluff Police Department provides a variety of law enforcement services.
The Lake Bluff Police Department is currently recruiting qualified candidates to fill a vacancy in the dispatcher position. This non-sworn position is an integral part of the operations of the Lake Bluff Police Department that is responsible for many tasks and duties, including, but not limited to:

Current salary range is $49,025 to $65,366.
