Due to the upcoming retirement of the Chief, the Village of Holiday Hills Police Department is accepting applications for the position of part-time Chief of Police.

Pay & Benefits:

• Starting pay of $20/hour with automatic $1 raises after one year and three years

• Double-pay on 5 holidays

• Time-and-a-half on 3 other holidays

• Optional 457(b) pension plan

• Uniforms provided (officers must provide their own firearm and leather)

• Must be currently Illinois certified as part-time or full-time police officer with street and supervisory experience

• Pass an extensive background check, psychological exam, polygraph, and drug screen

Work approximately 20 hours per week plus optional patrol time if desired.  Strong preference given to applicants who can work day shift on weekdays and who live within 30 minutes driving time.
