Eligibility List*

The Village of Hodgkins, a Home Rule municipality, is currently accepting applications for Lateral entry Police Officer eligibility list.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• United States Citizen

• Between 21 and 35 years of age (Unless exempted by Illinois State Statute)

• Possess a High School Diploma or Valid G.E.D. Certificate

• Possess a Full Time Police Officer Certification through the ILETSB

• Successful Completion of the Following:

  • Orientation TBA

  • State of Illinois P.O.W.E.R. Test

  • In-Depth Background Check/Interview

  • Oral Interview

  • Psychological and Physical Examination

Starting Salary for Illinois Certified Police Officers (01/01/11) is $67,054.00 *
