The Village of Hodgkins, a Home Rule municipality, is currently accepting application to create a 2 Year eligibility list for the position of Police Officer.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• United States Citizen 

• Between 21 and 36 years of age (Unless exempted by 65 ILCS 5/10 -2.1-6 (a)) 

• Possess a High School Diploma or Valid G.E.D. Certificate 

• Successful Completion of the Following:

  • Orientation April 10, 2010/Written Examination

  • State of Illinois P.O.W.E.R. Test

  • In-Depth Background Check

  • Oral Interview

  • Psychological Examination

  • Physical Examination

SALARY AND BENEFITS

Starting Salary for Police Officers (12/31/09) is $48,033.00

Starting Salary for Illinois Certified Police Officers (12/31/09) is $63,513.00
