Minimum

Between the ages
of 21 and 34 by application deadline (9/24/10) - applications will be
accepted from candidates who are 20 years of age and have successfully completed
at least 60 semester hours (90 quarter hours) in the study of law enforcement at
an accredited college/university
High school
diploma/GED
Completed 60
semester hours (90 quarter hours) of college credit at an accredited
college/university OR have completed 4 years of continuous military service
Valid driver's
license
Successful
completion of the POWER test within six (6) months PRIOR to application deadline
(9/24/10); Candidates may take the POWER test through NIPSTA in Glenview,
IL
Proof of
military service to qualify for military preference points
Successfully
complete online application and submit all required documents no later than 12
NOON on September 24, 2010
Attend written
exam on Saturday, October 16, 2010; Candidates are to arrive by 8:00 a.m. (valid driver’s license or state ID required to sign in);
Testing will begin at 9am sharp
