The Harwood Heights Police Department

is now accepting applications for the position of

full-time 911 Communication’s Operator.

The 911 Communication Center is considered to be state-of-the art.

• Be twenty-one (21) years of age

• Be a United States Citizen

• Have a clear speaking voice and the skill, knowledge and mental development equivalent to the completion of four (4) years of high school

• Previous work experience as a 911 Operator, contact with the public and computer familiarization is desirable

After a post-employment offer the candidate will have to successfully pass a physical examination, psychological, polygraph, drug analysis, and thorough background investigation.

Salary:

The present starting salary is $35,736.00 to $42,841.00 after 36 months.
