Apply online for our Assistant Supervisor, Public Safety position at Harper College. This position is responsible for the efficient operation and general supervision of delegated functions of the Department of Public Safety.

Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or related field required or Associates degree and equivalent experience. Graduation from FBI’s National Academy, Southern Police Institute Command School or Northwestern University’s Staff and Command School preferred.  Minimum 10 years Public Safety experience required to include at least five years of supervisory level experience. Must possess or be capable of obtaining, within six months, certification as Basic Police Officer by the Illinois Law Enforcement Standards and Training Board.

Must remain flexible so as to be accessible to all three shifts and part-time staff. Excellent benefits including tuition waivers.
