911 Dispatcher
The Glenview Police Department is currently seeking a 911 dispatcher.
This individual will handle emergency phone and radio communications as well as computer based messaging. Knowledge and proficiency in LEADS, PIMS, ALECS/ALERTS and CAD is a plus.
This position requires the ability to speak and communicate clearly, respond accurately and promptly to a multitude of duties often while under stressful conditions.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. A high school diploma or G.E.D. is required. Working rotating shifts, weekends and holidays will be required.
The starting salary is $42,014 per year with excellent benefits (Salary will be $43,589 effective 1/1/06).
