The Glen Ellyn Board of Fire and Police Commissioners announces

open examinations for the position of police officer.

 

 

Applications are currently available at the Police Department and online at www.glenellyn.org.  Applicants must attend a mandatory Orientation and Written Examination as well as pass the State of Illinois P.O.W.E.R. test.  Applicants must complete the testing at the site in which they attend the Orientation.

Applications must be completed and returned following the orientation. Applicants must bring state photo identification, a copy of their birth certificate, and a copy of their high school diploma or equivalent prior to the written exam.

Applicants must be between the ages of 20 and 34 years of age.  They must be U.S. Citizens, and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
