The City of Genoa, Illinois is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Police Officer.
We are specifically looking for career oriented individuals with a high level of self motivation, excellent communication skills, a commitment to community service and a strong sense of duty to serve this small community of 5,000.
Genoa is located in Northern DeKalb County approximately 60 miles west of Chicago and 30 Miles southeast of Rockford. Northern Illinois University and the City of DeKalb are just 8 miles to the south.

The salary range is $39,832 to $58,364 with a generous benefit package, 12 hour shift plan with 3½ day work week and every other three-day weekend off.
There is an Civil Service Examination fee of $20.00.
