The Board of Fire and Police Commissioners of the Village of Forest Park are accepting applications for the position of FIREFIGHTER/PARAMEDIC.  The examination process will begin with an overview of the Firefighter/Paramedic position followed by a written exam.

Applicants must:

• Be at least 21 years of age and under 35 years of age (except as provided by statute)

• Be a U.S. citizen or meet alien resident requirements in order to participate in the examination process

• Be an Illinois Licensed Paramedic upon appointment

• Produce a CPAT certification before the final eligibility list is posted; in addition, must maintain the CPAT certification annually while on the current list
