FIREFIGHTER/PARAMEDIC

The Board of Fire and Police Commissioners of the Village of Forest Park, IL, an Equal Opportunity Employer, will conduct an examination to establish an eligibility roster of persons qualified to be appointed to the position of Firefighter/Paramedic with the Forest Park Fire Department.

The mandatory Orientation and Written Exam will be held at:

Forest Park Community Center

7640 Jackson Blvd

Forest Park, Illinois 60130

Saturday, June 18^th, 2005 beginning promptly at 7:00 am 

Principal requirements for each applicant include the following:

• Must be a Citizen of the United States

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

• Must be at least 21 years of age and not more than 35 years of age. (except as provided for in State Statue)

• Must have a valid Driver’s License

• Must be an Illinois Licensed Paramedic upon appointment

Starting Salary: $41,395.79 – top pay after 5 years $64,765.91
