NOTICE OF EXAMINATION

POLICE OFFICER

The Board of Fire and Police Commissioners of the Village of Forest Park, Illinois, an Equal Opportunity Employer, will conduct an examination to establish an eligibility roster of persons qualified to be appointed to the position of Police Officer with the Forest Park Police Department.

The selection process shall consist of several tests, which will be explained, in detail at a mandatory orientation program. Principal requirements for each applicant include the following:

• Must be a Citizen of the United States

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

• Must be at least 21 years of age and not more than 35 years of age. (except as provided for in state statue)

Applications will be available beginning September 7th, 2004, at the office of the Village Clerk:

between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday

and 8:00 am to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday thru Friday

There is a non-refundable fee of $10.00. The application is required to be filled out and returned to the Clerks Office by 5:00 p.m. Monday, October 4th, 2004.

Interested applicants must attend a mandatory orientation program commencing at 7:00 p.m. October 7th, 2004, in:
