Police Service Officer
(Police Department)
 

Professional opportunity working within the Police Department and throughout the community.

Work responsibilities include:

• Answering calls

• Use of TDD machine and radio

• Retrieving information from L.E.A.D.S. and DuPage County systems

• Reading incoming reports

• Monitoring cameras

• Providing information

• Greeting the public 

• High school graduate or equivalent

• May require working irregular hours, at night or early morning, and responding to callbacks

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds

• Occasionally climb a ladder

• Valid Illinois driver’s license

• Outstanding verbal communication and customer service skills 

Wage dependent upon experience.  Full-time position with excellent benefits. Any shift may be assigned.
