Minimum Requirements:

• $20.00 non-refundable application fee

• U.S. Citizenship

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)

• Valid Driver’s License

• 21 to under 35 years of age on March 25, 2011 unless otherwise exempt by statute

• Illinois Firefighter II certification issued by the Office of the State Fire Marshall (OSFM) at time of application deadline (3/25/11)

• Illinois Department of Public Health EMT-Paramedic (IDPH EMT-P) license at time of application deadline (3/25/11)

• Valid CPAT due at time of application deadline (3/25/11). CPAT considered valid only if dated within one year prior to application deadline (must be dated between 3/25/2010 and 3/25/2011)

• No Felony Convictions
