Position Description:
The Chief of Police has overall responsibility for managing the operations of the twenty-four hour College of Lake County Police Department. Responsible for all law enforcement activities at three campuses with 18,000 students and the leadership of a 24-person, fully-trained police department. Successful candidates will have, or can quickly develop, a full understanding of the federal Clery Act requirements as they apply to campus law enforcement.
