Police Officer

(2 positions – Grayslake Campus and Lakeshore Campus)

Position Description:

Under the administrative supervision of the Chief of Police and the functional supervision of the Police Sergeant, the Officer provides service and protection to the people and property of the College of Lake County through the enforcement of state laws and CLC rules and regulations, and provides community service to the campus community through patrols, order maintenance and public assistance.  

• An Associate degree or higher or 60 semester hours or more.

• Current certification as a Peace Officer by the Illinois Training & Standards Board.

• A valid driver’s license.

• Ability to patrol all facilities on foot.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
