The Village of Buffalo Grove Fire & Police Commission is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer.

 

 

To qualify applicants must:

  • Be a U.S. Citizen

  • Possess a valid D.L.

  • Have a H.S. diploma or equivalent

  • Except as otherwise provided by state statute, applicants must be at least 21 and less than 35 years of age at the time of the last date for filing applications

 

Starting Salary:

 

$48,062.00/year + benefits package

Attendance at an orientation meeting is MANDATORY for all candidates.

 

Orientation meetings will be held on Saturday, April 2 at 9:00AM and on Monday, April 4 at 7:30PM in the Buffalo Grove High School Theater. Buffalo Grove High School is located at 1100 W. Dundee Road in Buffalo Grove. Candidates may attend either meeting. Spouses and partners are encouraged to attend. Completed applications must be returned at one of the orientation meetings.
