Beginning Monday, July 12, 2010 applications for the position of police officer are available at:

A $25.00 non-refundable Administrative Fee will be charged per application package (checks made payable to Village of Bloomingdale).  Completed applications must be returned by Friday, August 6, 2010 at 4:30 p.m. to The Bloomingdale Police Department. Applications will not be mailed to applicants.

Applicant must:

• Be a citizen of the United States

• Be 21 years of age

• Have a High School diploma or equivalent

• Possess a valid Illinois driver's license

• Be of good moral character

• Be able to perform all the duties and tasks assigned

• Starting pay as of 9/1/10 is $26.12 per hour ($54,329.60)
