EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

Bensenville Fire Protection District No. 2 is conducting

an orientation and written examination on

June 25, 2008 at 6:30 PM sharp at:

Bensenville Fire District

500 South York

to establish an eligibility list for the position of Firefighter/EMT-B/Paramedic.

Please park on the east end of the Parking lot.

Attendance at the orientation is mandatory and check-in will begin at 6:00 PM.  Applicants must meet all requirements of the department on the date of application and no exceptions will be allowed respective to the general requirements listed below.   

General Requirements:

• 30 college credits or Associates Degree

• Valid Drivers license

• Must be between the age of 21 years and 35 years of age at time of application or meet the new promotion standards

• U.S. Citizen or must meet requirements of Illinois Human Rights Act for citizenship status

• Must have a valid CPAT card on or before June 25, 2008

• Have both a State of Illinois Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B) (Paramedic Preferred) and a State of Illinois Firefighter II certification.

• Must pass all selection and training requirements to be hired.
