Applicants must:

• Be 21 to 35 years of age at time of appointment (unless
  affected by state statute)

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree unless they possess at least one of the 3 below exceptions to the Education Requirement:

  1. A minimum of 2 years of service as a full time state certified police officer or as a federal law enforcement officer with arrest powers and a minimum of 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours of college credit.

  2. A minimum of 3 years of military service with an honorable discharge and a minimum of 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours of college credit.

  3. A minimum of 3 years of military service with an honorable discharge within two years of the date of the application and possess a primary specialty of security, law enforcement, or military police as listed on the DD Form 214.
