The Village of Beecher is seeking applicants to establish a lateral eligibility list for the position of Police Officer. 

Compensation & Benefits:

• Current starting salary:  $37,825

• Uniform allowance provided annually

• 12 hour work shift

• Be a US citizen

• Be at least 21 years of age

• No felony convictions or crimes of moral turpitude

• Have a valid drivers license

• Possess the 400 hour Illinois police officer certification or another state certification equivalent, with the approval for a waiver to be granted by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board

The Village of Beecher has a population of 4100.  The police department consists of 8 sworn full-time police officers, 5 part-time police officers and 1 civilian employee.
