POLICE OFFICER

The Board of Fire and Police Commissioners is accepting applications to establish an eligibility list for future openings in the Police Department.  The Rules and Regulations of the Board of Commissioners will govern all applicants.

Application forms may be obtained at:

Antioch Police Department

between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

There is a non-refundable $20.00 application fee.

Completed applications must be filed at the Antioch Police Department on or before September 3, 2010.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants must:

1. Be a U.S. Citizen

2. Have a High School Diploma or equivalent

3. Be between the ages of 21 and 34

4. Have a valid driver's license

5. Be of good moral character and no felony convictions

6. Be able to successfully complete a written test, oral board review, background investigation, psychological and polygraph tests, as well as a pre-employment medical and physical ability examination

7. Meet all other requirements of the Fire and Police Commission
