POLICE AVIATION (HELICOPTER) MANAGER
 

Gwinnett County Police Dept. (NE metro Atlanta, GA) has immediate need for an experienced Aviation Manager for overseeing the day to day and maintenance operations of the Helicopter fleet (2 McDonnell-Douglas 500's) and assigned personnel.
 

Requirements:

• HS or GED

• One+ year of Police Helicopter Flight training

• Five years of police, piloting and supervisory experience; or an
  equivalent combination of education, training & experience to perform
  the essential job duties

Licensing Requirements:

• FAA Commercial Rotorcraft Pilot's License

• FAA Flight Instructor Rotorcraft certificate

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic certificate

• Valid driver's license

• Must obtain Georgia POST Peace Officer certification within one year of service
