The Supreme Court of Florida is seeking qualified applicants who possess demonstrated leadership skills and abilities to assume the responsibilities of Marshal.  The Supreme Court Marshal is a constitutional officer and is the custodian of all property, building and grounds, and inventory, and is responsible for security, emergency preparedness, maintenance and facilities management, development and execution of the Court’s operational budget, purchasing, and telephone communication services. The Marshal also has the power to insure the execution of the Court’s orders throughout the state. 

A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four year college or university and ten years of executive management experience and experience in security or law enforcement is required.  Experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and facility management, is necessary.
