To qualify for the position of Police Officer you must:

• Be a US citizen at the time of application

• Be 21 years of age

• Possess good vision

• Pass a written test

• Pass a medical examination, a psychological exam and a drug-screening test

• Be a person of high moral character

• Possess a driver’s license at the time of application

• Have attended some college

• Served in the armed forces or served with a full service police department within the US
