Southern California Edison, one of America's largest utilities, has an excellent opportunity in its San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) in San Clemente.

As a member of the SONGS Security Team, you will help ensure the prevention of radiological sabotage. Your responsibilities will include tactical armed responder duties and alarm assessment; performing security computer system functions, as well as monitoring, maintaining and documenting access to plant protected and vital areas. You will also perform personnel and vehicle access control functions, including searches for the detection of firearms,  explosives and incendiary devices.

This position requires at least 3 years of active duty experience in the U.S.  military or 3 years' experience in armed law enforcement or armed industrial security. Must be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or GED and valid driver's license. Must also be able to work any shift as well as overtime, as required.
