The City of Oceanside, CA is recruiting for the position of Public Safety Communications Manager. This position assumes full management responsibility for all fire and police dispatching services and activities.
Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Criminal Justice, Business Administration or a closely related field from an accredited college or university, and must have at least five years of increasingly responsible administrative professional experience in a communications, technical service function of a law enforcement/public safety agency including two years in a supervisory position. POST certification as a Police Dispatcher is highly desirable.
