Inter-Con is a leading US-owned security company providing a full range of physical security services to government and commercial customers on three continents.  We seek a Director/Vice President of Security Operations for our Pasadena, CA location to provide leadership, management to security managers and officers for the delivery of best-in-class security services and effective operations and administrative oversight.  If you are a Sr. Branch or District Manager for a physical security company, we want to speak to you.

 

 

Job Functions:

  • Ensures the delivery of high quality customer service via client relationships and the evaluation of service quality through metrics

  • Analyzes operational and financial indicators to continuously improve operationís performance

  • Ensures profitable operations with profit/loss accountability

  • Meets regularly with client representatives for status updates and addresses any actual or potential problems

  • Negotiates client contracts in coordination with the COO and the Sr. Vice President

  • Supports/oversees client start-ups

  • Resolves operational issues and takes corrective action when needed

  • Coordinates service requirements with management and other applicable company functional areas

  • Evaluates industry and business trends for potential impact and growth opportunities

 

Job Requirements:

  • Ideal candidate manages or has operations experience in multiple states or in regions of CA

  • Experience with commercial, government or hospital contracts a plus

  • B.A. degree preferably in Criminal Justice or former law enforcement or military police experience

  • 7+ years of physical security management experience required

  • Ability to audit payroll and invoicing statements
