Salary: $32,323 annually (11.10 hourly)

Fire Shift - 56 hour week

Job Requirements:

  • 18 years old

  • HS Dip/GED

  • Graduate of firefighting academy, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job

  • Must possess a valid AZ DL prior to employment

  • Possession of NFPA 1001 Firefighter I/II State certification or
    Federal equivalent

  • Possession of Arizona State or National Registry Certification as an
    EMT or Paramedic and ability to maintain.  Note: Those currently enrolled in one of these programs may participate in the exam process but will not be placed on eligibility list until copy of certification is received by Human Resources.
