Training Officer - Administrative Fire Captain
Salary: $3,539 - $4,302/month + excellent benefit package
The City of Grover Beach is accepting applications for the position of Training Officer - Administrative Fire Captain.
Under direction of the Fire Chief, the Training Officer prepares, oversees, and coordinates training programs for Fire Department personnel. This position is responsible for maintaining training attendance records, ensuring annual state and federal training mandates are met, and providing oversight to Field Training Officers. This position may be required to fulfill shift captain duties during certain absences, and act as Department liaison to City Management.

The City of Grover Beach is accepting applications for the position of Fire Captain.
Under direction of the Fire Chief, Fire Captains supervise and coordinate fire suppression, fire prevention, public education, and fire and life safety code enforcement activities on assigned shifts; formulate and implement comprehensive program of in-service training; supervise staff engaged in firefighting, medical emergencies, hazardous materials response and automatic/mutual aid incidents; and coordinate assigned activities with other divisions, outside agencies, and the general public.
