The Plainfield Police Commission will be accepting applications for the position of Police Officer for the Plainfield Police Department. Applications are available at the Police Department, 1400 N. Division Street (Rte. 59), Plainfield, Illinois on weekdays 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. starting Thursday, January 2, 2003.

All applications must be completed in full and returned no later than Wednesday, January 22, 2003, 5:00 p.m.

Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen, have at least two years of college credit (60 semester hours), be between 21-35 years of age, be of good moral character, and have a good driving record.

There is a $20.00 non-refundable fee

for the application packet and testing process.
