DEPUTY SHERIFF

The McHenry County Sheriff’s Merit Commission is seeking applicants for Merited, Full-Time Deputy Sheriff positions. On April 5, 2003, the commission will hold 1) a mandatory orientation session, 2) written exam, and 3) physical agility test at 9:00 a.m. at the McHenry County Government Center, 2200 N. Seminary Ave., Woodstock, IL.  Applicants are encouraged to dress appropriately for the physical agility portion of the exam. 

Eligibility requirements are as follows:

·        Twenty-one (21) years of age on or before April 5, 2003;

·        A high school graduate or GED;

·        A United States Citizen;

·        Possess a valid drivers license; and

·        Become a resident of McHenry County within one year of being hired.
