Qualifications: • High School or GED • U.S. Citizenship • 21 years of age • no felony convictions or domestic violence history or conviction.

* Recruit officer's salary, $27,000 per year. $30,000 per year after completion of Kansas Academy and FTO training. Yearly pay increases, within a 10 year step plan, are based on job performance. Maximum salary, $42,699 per year, attainable within 10 years.
