The DeKalb County Sheriff's Merit
Commission is accepting applications to establish an Eligibility List for the
position of Deputy Sheriff initially assigned to the Corrections Division
with potential transfer to Patrol.

Qualifications
• Must be 20 years of age with High
School diploma or equivalent
• Must pass written, physical and
psychological tests/exams as designated by the Merit Commission.
• 20/20 corrected, normal color
vision
• Must not be a member of the
immediate family of a current DeKalb County Sheriff's Office Employee.
Applications may be obtained from the
Sheriff's Office in the Public Safety Building, Sycamore, Illinois 8am to 5pm
weekdays. Applications must be received by the DeKalb County Merit Commission,
150 N. Main Street, Sycamore, IL, no later than September 13, 2001 at 5 pm.
Applicants will be notified regarding the time and place of the testing at the
time the application is submitted.
