The City of Chicago Heights is accepting applications for Entry Level Police Officers until 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2003.

Candidates must be 20 to 35 years of age with a high school diploma or GED certification. Residency is not required until twelve months of appointment. Further requirements are in the Rules of The City of Chicago Heights, Board of Fire and Police Commissioners.

Applications available at City Clerk's Office, Chicago Heights City Hall, 1601 Chicago Road, Chicago Heights, Illinois. There is a $40 application fee and a Mandatory Orientation meeting has been scheduled for February 24, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. Written Examination is March 1, 2003 at 9:00 a.m.
